Semey

Semey (Kazakh and Russian Семей / Semey), formerly known as Semipalatinsk (Russian: Семипала́тинск, until 2007), is a city in Kazakhstan, in the northeastern province of East Kazakhstan.
Population: 299,264 (2009 Census results).
